You think you had a bad day
This is Tiger, a wretched little dog who was found with his 2 siblings, looking in much the same condition, living at their home, with a family, well 2 families really and kept in a tortured and pitiful condition.
We have taken advice from vets on their medical condition and their symptoms suggest Sebborrhea (Bookmark this site …. it’s free !) and we are showering with medicated shampoos a couple of times a week.
Because of their chronic state, their healing will take time but sadly if you read the internet enough about this condition, they may suffer with this for life and never really be rid of the tendency to have oily skin.
But as you can see from the early photos, their skin was far more than oily, the caked, flaked & rawness must have been depressing & painful.
The 3 (Tiger, Leo & Fanny) are now at least standing & barking which is more than can be said compared to when they first came to the shelter 2 weeks ago. Now there is a brighter future but only with the right help. Perhaps someone with a kind heart will consider adopting them.
