We recently received an inquiry from a generous and kind lady in Kuala Lumpur, saying they wished to send us a parcel of Collars & Leashes for the dogs at the Care for Dogs shelter.

We were delighted at this prospect, as we always are, whenever people make donations, whether it be in kind, material or money. We totally depend on donations and donations like this are always welcome.

Now when this lady said she wanted to send some collars and leads, we just thought it would be a few night market specials and the same as we already find ourselves! When she wrote in her email to us that the parcel was 10kg and en-route with DHL, we just read that a parcel was en-route with DHL !

When the parcel actually arrived, we don’t know who was more stunned, the dogs or the volunteers, 10kg of collars and leads is an awful lot.

As you can see in the pics, the box was totally sniffed and investigated, some immediately laid claim to their favourite styles and others were a bit on the hesitant side.

The winter collection has been unleashed at Care for Dogs this season and we are extremely thankful for the thoughtful donation.
