Hi there

My name is Winston and I was dumped in the garden of one of the volunteers of Care for Dogs. They have three male dogs already and couldn’t keep me, so I’m now at the shelter of Care For Dogs in Chiang Mai. My former owner didn’t wanted to look after me any more and just lifted me over their fence when it was dark - well, not really gentleman-like I guess, but sometimes humans are hard to understand…

I’m a handsome clever male – my mom told me that my dad is a proud Waimaraner pedigree dog. I love human company and other female doggy girls. However, I’m dominant with male dogs, so I’d prefer a home where I’m the only four-legged “man” around. They say I’m a bit a “macho”, not really sure what that means. What I’m really good at is, guarding a house - due to my strong posture, I’ll scare away every burglar! The girls at Care for Dogs had me fixed at the vet clinic already (man, are they quick, no chance to escape…).
