Where to Max ?

dsc_8801It was a pleasure to share my driving space with an old friend today, Max.

He made a point of turning the radio on & off ad-nauseum and blocking my mirror view(s) but as with other friends and their annoying habits, you just look at them & say “Are you happy ?”

Today Max was extremely happy, he was in the front, no bandage and looking brighter than I have ever seen him.

Tear’s was in the back and not at all happy with her outlook on life. I think in a way that was why Max kept fiddling with the radio, trying to drown out her complaints “Are we nearly there ?” “I wanna be in the front seat… you promised ” And on & on she went!

MaxDr Beer, the vet at Purpoon Clinic looked at his ear, the 3rd check up since his operation to remove the collapsed ear canal which was causing a constant infection and today Max was given the ‘All Clear’ to stop medication.

So for just another week, he will wear that plastic fashion accessory and enjoy daily ear cleaning by the lads at the shelter but after that it will be a whole new life for him.

No pain, no discomfort, no bitter, yucky gastly meds and no more wrestling matches either.

But there is a price to pay… we just have to remember to talk to him on his right side… Deaf as a post on the left!
