Vern is moving on
Vern Nowland has been with Care for Dogs it would seem to some for just a couple of weeks but in fact he has been here for so long, that we have all become dependent upon him for his lively and bright enthusiasm for the activities at Care for Dogs and has shown us what a difference could be made, had we been more like him, a professional fundraiser.
Since Vern took on the task as Fundraising Coordinator, his mission has been to liaise with suppliers to the pet industry in Thailand. Through these efforts, Care for Dogs has been able to create solid associations with many generous companies that have offered to support the goal of caring for needy dogs and cats in and around Chiang Mai.
This week, he will be moving on to new horizons and challenges, in another part of the world but we are very pleased to know he will be continuing to work as a volunteer with Care for Dogs where ever he is, making a difference to the lives of cats & dogs in Chiang Mai as the Fundraising Co-ordinator.
Today some of the team enjoyed lunch with Vern at his favourite Kao Soy Restaurant.
