Tipsy – Old Fellow Looks for Final Love
Posted: Saturday 24th Nov 2012
|Tipsy adopted us! He kept turning up at the shelter from a nearby village. Despite several attempts to return him to his home – one actually involved a blind fold – he found us every time.
And as times goes by he’s been at the shelter for several years now.
Now this is not to say that if you have time and love to give him he would not rather be in a loving forever home. In shelter environment there is never enough time to care for those individuals like him as he loves hugs and attention and also his quiet time. This distinguished older fellow is a real sweetheart. He is medium-large sized and has a medium black coat that is easy to take care of. He just needs a safe, shady spot in your family’s hearts and home!

Michael " Being part of the team I think, was so much more effective. If alone, I would only have given a street dog some food for few days, not knowing what else to do in a strange town when seeing a sick dog. Joining with the other volunteers at CfD, I was part of a steady approach. You give dogs some hope for a better life and don't have to disappoint them when they might wait on you, when your plane already took off. Here is a team and it's just another friendly face, the next (holiday) volunteer will take up your work. [More about Michael]"
