The Plan: from Overcrowded to Family

Daisy, Samba and Saphire have been taken in from a place where a lady keeps over 50 cats in 2 small rooms.

The lady realizes that this is not a quality of live for the cats and has agreed that we will help her to get these cats sterilized and find new homes for them.

And after fostering them for some time, Ashley our volunteer for special cat cases has something to say about their character:

Cookie (FOUND A NEW HOME!) is a black and white , female cat.  She has recently been in a car accident , but has recovered nicely and now just needs a loving home.  She is affectionate and enjoys sleeping on her rug.

Samba is an energetic all black, female kitten.  She loves to play and purr.  She neeeds someone to love her.

Daisy (FOUND A NEW HOME!) is a female cat, under a year old.  She is intelligent and loves to run and play in the yard.  She has white paws and a grey coat.  Daisy needs a loving family.

Saphire (FOUND A NEW HOME!) is a female cat, about 1 year old.  She has beautiful blue eyes and a cream and brown coat.  She is very lady-like and likes to sit and “talk” to you. Saphire would love to have an affectionate owner to care for her.

The only thing is if they should be adopted before their stitches are out the new owners would need to take them back to the vet for their final check-up. Also, Saphire has bad breath and the Dr said that should be checked to determine why.

As soon as they have found a home Ashley can foster more cats and find a loving home for them.

All of these cats have been sterilized, vaccinated and dewormed. If you are interested in taking a purring friend into your heart and home, just contact Ashley (ashley@carefordogs.org).

" Being part of the team I think, was so much more effective. If alone, I would only have given a street dog some food for few days, not knowing what else to do in a strange town when seeing a sick dog. Joining with the other volunteers at CfD, I was part of a steady approach. You give dogs some hope for a better life and don't have to disappoint them when they might wait on you, when your plane already took off. Here is a team and it's just another friendly face, the next (holiday) volunteer will take up your work. [More about Michael]"
