Animals love you unconditionally.

They forgive us humans for starving them, beating them and ignoring them. They need help and they need a voice. It’s so hard to describe in words how moving and rewarding it is for me to work alongside the dogs and pups at care for dogs shelter and in the streets and temples of Chiang Mai. I spend many hours with them and I would not choose it any other way.

I have loved animals all my life and was lucky to have always had pet cats, dogs, chickens and rats as a part of our family growing up. It was not until I moved to Malaysia 3 and a half years ago that I was able to fulfill my dream of giving back through volunteering with a charity and to work with animals. I continued this voluntary work when we moved to Chiang Mai 1 year ago by joining the Care for Dogs team.

The dogs love visitors at the shelter and we, the Care for Dogs team, are very proud of the work we do.

Do come by sometime to be shown around our shelter and to hear some of the incredible heartwarming stories of the dogs and pups in our care.
