Licorice’s positive turn-around!

After lots of reassurance from Sarah, Karin, and Ally (as well as others!) who thought that it was still more likely for Licorice to be suffering from e-canis (the SNAP tests can be fallible and give a false negative) than from cancer (both would affect platelet and red blood cell count).

Wolfie’s SNAP test result; + for e-canis

As ticks and mosquitos are rampant in Thailand, I recently pulled blood and did a SNAP test on my two adoptees- Wolfie and Licorice. The SNAP test is incredibly easy to use and requires just three drops of blood to test for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, and Lyme disease. Licorice’s was clear! Hurray!
