Sweetie has left the shelter !!

And she has left in style, gone to a new home and has a lovely playmate, Rondo, a big softy golden retriever.

The new ‘owner’ called us quite concerned about some of the behaviour going on between them and it was an ideal opportunity for us to carry out a home visit & follow up.

I gave them both a chew and the pair of them promptly went over to a shady grass area amongst a beautiful garden with many places for them to rest & relax. Sweetie looked very happy and had already established herself as the top dog between the 2 of them, she had been in the home 24 hours !

After observing their play and communication, I was very pleased to help the new owner understand she should look upon their behaviour as positive and bonding their relationship.

Another happy adoption.
