Sponsor a dog for Christmas & New Year

Homeless dogs in Chiang Mai, Thailand need help all year round but at this festive time, we ask you to sponsor a dog. You can do this either as a gift for someone you know or by making a donation yourself.

With over 150 homeless and abandoned dogs in our care at any one time, we (and the dogs!) really need your assistance. With your help we can give them a better quality of life and a future but that takes more than compassion, it requires finance and therefore donations!

Care for Dogs provides medical treatment, including sterilisation to homeless dogs as well as rehoming dogs who, because of abuse, trauma, or dire neglect, have been rescued from their surroundings and brought to our shelter.

Although some of the dogs struggle with difficult backgrounds, our loving team of volunteers help rehabilitate the dogs by treasuring, cuddling, and caring for them until they find a permanent home. But that can often take time. So they just wait & wait for the right people to come along and give them a new chance.

By sponsoring a puppy or doggy’s stay at the shelter in Hang Dong, you can make a difference to their well being and future. If you consider making a donation for someone you know, your kindness will be appreciated by both them & the sponsored dog.

So please make that commitment today, simply click this link, visit our online store and follow the simple process to sponsor a dog at the shelter.

If you would prefer to sponsor by a bank transfer, that is just as simple too, follow this link to our donations page.

And of course, you could always come to the shelter and meet the dogs and that way, you might even consider taking one home with you !

“Saving one dog won’t change the world but surely, the world will change for that one dog.”
