Searching for Sonja

Ever since we found out that Sonja had slipped away from her new home, albeit 3 days after she had done so, the entire Care for Dogs team have been trawling at different times of the day, the busy roads around the area she ran from.

We know that she has spent most of her life at Wat Doi Kam, about 5 kilometres south west from Nimmanhaeminda Road, until she was rescued for her safety to the shelter. So we have been concentrating our efforts on the main routes leading away towards the south west.

Each of the members of the team doing their searches have their own experiences and we still excited every time we see a brown dog either moving or laying still in the distance, hoping that it might just be the right little brown girl.

Below are a just a few of the dogs I have come across during my search. Interestingly, we now have a couple of new mange treatment cases in the wings !
