Dear Sarah,

It really makes me happy to read about you and your incredible work! (as always..!) And the pictures of you shows that you have found your home. I wish I could send all dogs from Malaysia to be cared for by you and your team. Keep up the great work!

It's great to read and see more of our dear friend Sarah (since our shared animal shelter adventures in Malaysia) and to hear how things continue to move onward and upward at Care for Dogs since we visited in April! We are also so impressed with the inspirational and educational new website, great job Ally!
Sarah's energy, enthusiasm, great attitude and organisation are truly phenomenal and it is wonderful to know that at Care for Dogs she has found her 'home' as part of a team where she has been appreciated and been able to put every one of her special skills to use. No one can change the world alone but when a few special souls combine their efforts the progress can be magical. Though the dogs, volunteers and visitors always come and go, the life of each one will have been touched and changed for the better for their time with you, Sarah. xx

Thank you Ally for the wonderful interview and story on our brilliant team mate Sarah. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this along with the many other stories, keep up the good work. The automatic emailed updates are great in keeping up to date on everything, I highly recommend this to anyone who hasn't registered for it yet!

Hi Karin, Hi Sarah,

it's me, Michael from Germany.

Last November I was a "tourist volunteer" for few weeks and thank you for your kind words, hoping I was meant to.
It was a wonderful time and I learned to admire the work of real fulltime volunteers as you Karin and Sarah. To estimate Sarahs work at 110% is a little less, I don't know if 200% is enough. That time we were nowhere near a nine to five, 5 days a week schedule.

Working as a volunteer with Sarah was a fine thing, cause the hard part she did. I did some practical work and get the good feeling of doing the right thing, but beside that there were no real responibilities. That was Sarah's burden. A Truck arrives with a bunch of puppies. Can we take some more in a still full shelter and which to choose? A very sick fellow dog near the end of life, suffering so hard, to consider euthanasia. On these events and many more the answers and the final decision belonged to Sarah. I think, she did a wonderful job.

So I love to hear that the number of helping hands slowly increases. I only can support anyones idea to join that team what you give you will get back the double. It's not ony the dogs wagging their tails from time to time it's also a smile from your collegue beside you.

Bye for now,

Michael
