Puppies Need Homes
This letter is a plea from some responsible people living in SanKampaeng, telling an all too familiar story.
Can you help or know someone that can? Please contact us if you are able to assist these puppies in finding a home.
Khun Mai also sent these photo’s of the family she describes.

Hello
My husband and I live in a small housing development just outside Sankampaeng. A family of stray dogs live in the development, the father sits up with the security guards at night. The mother gave birth to a litter last year and has one disabled teenage daughter (1 deformed front leg) still with her. Recently she gave birth to a new litter of 9 in a disused drain. The children disturbed them and she moved the puppies to another drain near the main entrance. I guess this raised her profile.
We keep rescued cats, but have found the dogs quite friendly. However, some of the householders here complained about the dogs to the owner of the development who then put pressure on the Security company to have the dogs removed. One of the security guards asked me if I could help out and after much deliberation my husband and I took in the family, except the dad who is approachable only by the security guards and would not come in. We have had the the family for over a month now and the pups are growing rapidly. The disabled female youngster has now been spayed and is now helping out as nanny. The mother is due to be spayed next week.
We have tried to find good homes for them by displaying flyers within the development, the convenience store and the vet’s clinic but the feedback has been that people don’t want brown dogs and so no one has yet come for these lovely dogs.
I’m hoping that your organisation might know someone who’s looking for canine companions. They just need tender loving care and the usual vaccination, neutering/spaying. We are growing very fond of them but unfortunately we are unable to keep all, at the moment we are observing 3 puppies to see how they get on with the cats. The mother dog is especially affectionate and will go for walks with you on the lead.
I’ve attached some photos of those looking for a new start and hope you will be able to help us find homes for these dogs and puppies.
Many thanks
Mai

Priscilla and her pups are absolutely adorable! The mommy’s eyes are captivating to say the least.
I hope we find families for them! I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
