Petal is on the mend
After being found by volunteer Frances, living a desperate life on the streets, Petal is now at the shelter on 2 very healthy meals a day plus a generous tit-bit laced with Ivomec, to help her recovery from mange.
We also have her on other meds, to improve her health and I think this photo says a lot.
Well done Frances, this girl is a fighter and will make it back to good health thanks to you bringing her in for treatment. With the sores and wounds on her body from the constant scratching and living in an unhealthy environment without too much food or care, she would certainly have deteriorated to an early grave.
