Patch, surviving dependant, looking for a new home!
Patch is a neutered female who is about 4 years old.
She was rescued as a puppy in Phuket and lived with her English owner until he died a few months ago.
She lived in a household with another dog (who has since got a new home) and four house cats. As far as we know, she has had little or no contact with children. Patch urgently needs a new loving home.
Patch is a sweet natured dog, housetrained, doesn’t bark and is good to walk out on a lead. However, she has a strong personality and may be best suited to a household where there is no more than one other dog.
She is currently in long-term kennels at The Happy Gambol in Mae Rim. She has occasional skin problems which are easily treated with a visit to the vet every couple of months.
If you think you can help please contact Liz on 081-932-1955 or Khun Nok at The Happy Gambol on 085-036-5732 (Thai and English speaking).

Michael " Being part of the team I think, was so much more effective. If alone, I would only have given a street dog some food for few days, not knowing what else to do in a strange town when seeing a sick dog. Joining with the other volunteers at CfD, I was part of a steady approach. You give dogs some hope for a better life and don't have to disappoint them when they might wait on you, when your plane already took off. Here is a team and it's just another friendly face, the next (holiday) volunteer will take up your work. [More about Michael]"
