Nimmanheamin Art & Design Promenade
Nimmanheamin Art & Design Promenade – or NAP as it is colloquially known, is an annual event held during the first weekend of December, celebrating the diversity of Art & Design in Chiang Mai.
This year NAP will start Friday 5 December through to Tuesday 9 December 2008, the 9th year this event has been held and is likely to be even more attractive and appealing than previous years.

Care for Dogs have attended NAP for the last 3 years and our stall has always attracted a varied cross section of society, allowing us to talk to so many people about how they might help, about the work we do, sharing experiences with animal welfare, dogs & cat stories and to be quite honest, chat about everything and anything that we humans find so fascinating!
NAP is held in Soi 1 of Nimmanheamin Road, quite near to the Amari Rincome Hotel. The entire soi is dressed up and marques and stage shows are arranged along with so many wonderful stalls displaying their wares for people to walk amongst and enjoy.
Not to be out done, Care for Dogs stall is full of doggy paraphernalia which we sell to raise money and of course we also have several large donation boxes, prominently displayed hoping to attract as many benevolent passers by as possible.
Previously we have taken the opportunity of bringing along puppies and also mature dogs, all rescued from being dumped and demonstrating how cute, cuddly and sociable they can be, despite having started their lives on the roadside.
Come and see us at Nimmanheamin Soi 1, 5 – 9 December 10am – 10pm! (Need directions ??)
