News Flash…..Thai Boy Gets Happy Ending!
Snowy was rescued from a soi in Chiangkien.
He was spotted limping on three legs, bleeding from a wound on his shoulder blades and being chased by a pack of less than social other dogs. All this and in the rain too!
He was taken to the vet and diagnosed with inflamed joints from a road accident, a flesh wound, probably a bite and some minor eye problems. All of his ailments were cured by antibiotics but during his visit, it was decided to sterilise him.
Just when he was ready to go back to the street, he developed a cough and had to be cared for a little longer.
Well, after spending a month at Chez “Care for Dogs”, Snowy has now gone home.
We had some initial concerns about other dogs that we had seen chasing him being unhappy to see him back in the neighbourhood but when a woman said that she had missed her handsome young man, thinking he was dead, we were very relieved.
So a happy ending, Snowy has been reunited with his grateful owner.
We explained about his little”holiday” and told the lady about what we had done for Snowy.
Snowy was indeed a happy dog, rolling around in mud and lapping up the stagnant water in the pond.
“Oh Joy” he must have thought….. “thank you everyone at Care for Dogs”.
