Lisa Taylor - TravBuddy report

Lisa having a cuddleIf you would like to consider taking time out of your life, your travel around the world or holiday plans, why not do as Lisa and Rachel have done, visit Care for Dogs in Chiang Mai and find a holiday romance of an extremely satisfying kind.

Lisa expresses her feelings by writing the following article on the TravBuddy network:

“We decided to volunteer for a few days before heading on, we ended up falling in love with the place and stayed 5 weeks.

….Spending so much time with the dogs has allowed us to see their personalities shine through, and gain the friendship”

We are constantly telling people about the personal rewards to be found in volunteering with Care for Dogs and when folks like Lisa and Rachel tell their stories too, it is even more obvious that these needy dogs can make people very happy indeed.

Financially rewarding, high powered and job description constraining in a “Rat Race” environment, it is not. Job satisfaction, emotionally rewarding and extremely enjoyable it is. Not only does Chiang Mai people the opportunity to make their western spending money go further, it also offers an insight into a very different way of life.

If you are considering even a short stay in Chiang Mai, please get in touch.

  1. What an inspiring blog about Rachels and Lisas experiences as a volunteer! Read their full story on travbuddy.com - it’s worth every word of it. Thanks so much, Rachel + Lisa, for giving so much TLC to our shelter dogs - I’m sure they miss you!
