Care for Dogs Foundation Awarded Dogs Trust Grant! แคร์ฟอร์ด็อกส์ได้รับมอบทุน Dogs Trust! (ภาษาไทยด้านล่างค่ะ)
We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a Dogs Trust grant! This grant will allow us to continue our work to humanely decrease the street dog population in our area by sterilising dogs and educating people.
Last month, we conducted a dog population survey and found that within our own neighbourhood, Hang Dong, Chiang Mai, there are approximately 800 – 1,400 dogs, most in need of sterilisation. That’s a lot of dogs and, potentially, even more puppies! As we certainly don’t want more dogs without homes, we need to act now.
We also need others to take action. To inspire our neighbours to join us in caring for dogs, we will be conducting education programs at our local temples and schools.
Puppy of the Week...Opal! ลูกสุนัขประจำสัปดาห์...โอปอ! (ภาษาไทยด้านล่างคะ)
Hello, I´m Opal. I’m a 4–5 month old puppy girl. I had a home but the owners abandoned me and my sister Elle, so we have been at the shelter now for two weeks. I´m a bit confused why I´m here, I already had a home! I hope I get a new one where I can stay for the rest of my life. It´s hard for a dog to lose a home, so think what it´s like to a small puppy! How confusing.
It was not that me or my sister would have had any faults, the owners just could not have us in the new home. I have soft brown fur and my eyes are big and deep. I need to be approached warmly and slowly, not too roughly. If you do so, I will give you the best cuddle moment ever!
Please come to meet me and my sister Elle! Elle has shiny and soft black fur and she´s a bit more outward than me. We both want to become the loves of your life!
