Dog of the Week - Margarita! ภาษาไทยด้านล่างคะ - มาการิต้า! (ภาษาไทยด้านล่างคะ)
Want to mix it up with a Margarita? We have just the girl for you!
Margarita is the ideal companion: one that is calm, considerate, but still likes to have fun. She is a perfect medium size and loves to go for walks. She is well behaved and in need of some one on one attention after so long at the shelter – by this time over 900 days!
Don’t you feel that’s long enough to be without the TLC every dog – and human deserves?
Please come meet the lady for yourself, and see if you fall head over heels for each other!
Saturday’s Special Star - Muppet! ดาวเด่นเสาร์นี้ - มัพเพ็ด! (ภาษาไทยด้านล่างคะ)
Muppet was found tied to a sala in a rice field – abandoned, just like that. How could someone do such a thing, not knowing if he would survive?
If Muppet is harboring any negative feelings or effects, he certainly doesn’t show it.
He is such a loving boy. He runs to greet everyone coming into the shelter in his very own unique puppyesque way. He absolutely adores belly rubs and is the most easy going dog around.
If you’re looking for the ideal dog to fit into your family and home, Muppet is the perfect choice! He is young, playful, good natured, getting along with all he has contact with – people and dogs alike.
Please come out and snap him up before someone beats you to it!
Care for Dogs Volunteers of the Month – Meet Cathy, Emma and Melissa! อาสาสมัครแคร์ฟอร์ด็อกส์ประจำเดือนนี้ – พบกับเคธี่ เอ็มม่าและเมลิสซ่าค่ะ! (ภาษาไทยด้านล่าง)
On behalf of the entire Care for Dogs team, we would like to express our appreciation to the amazing individuals who volunteer their time to help us care for the many abused, homeless and forgotten animals that come into our care.
For the month of November, we are featuring one amazing family of volunteers that do whatever they can to help make life a little bit better for all the dogs at our shelter.
Cathy, Emma and Melissa have been volunteering with Care for Dogs since July 2012 and when asked why they volunteer with us, Emma and Melissa said: Nothing says "I love you" more than wagging tails and the big slobbery doggie kisses. We mean the world to the dogs and brighten their days. Dogs are always there for you: to love you, comfort you and to lick you to death!
Cathy sums up her volunteering with us: Because dogs are so vulnerable in this world, and need caring advocates. For the deep joy and statisfaction in playing a part in seeing our downtrodden, abused, abandoned or injured dogs heal and get placed in loving and safe homes. For the moment of breakthrough when a shy or distrusting dog reaches out to me and trusts me not to break their heart all over again. To teach my children that the deepest joy in life comes from giving. To spend quality, meaningful time with my teenage daughters. Because we make a difference for dogs in Chiang Mai, one dog at a time. "Be the difference that you want to see in the world."(Mahatma Gandhi)
Thank You for your care and compassion and helping us save lives.
