Want to see our rescue team in action? Earlier this week we were notified by Bonnie Brereton of some dogs in need of treatment at Chiang Mai University. There is mum suffering with TVT for over one year with a liter puppies. They have made a den underneath the building which has made it difficult to catch her for treatment. Our dog catching team visited the site and made a detailed plan to get the dogs out. They arrived at Chiang Mai University the next morning a 7am. Three dog handlers climbed underneath while the other four remained outside to catch the dogs as they ran out. Thankfully we caught the dogs and brought them to our clinic for treatment.
All 5 puppies are healthy and will be vaccinated and sterilized. The mum will stay under our care for TVT treatment and we are confident for a full recovery. A huge thank you to Bonnie for notifying us. Watch the video below to see the rescue!
Meet Lamut our newest rescue case! She is an abandoned purebred Shar Pei that is suffering from severe mange and has lost all her hair. Thankfully concerned citizens found her and notified us of her condition. She will need a few months of treatment to get her back to health, but she should make a full recovery! Lamut is very sweet and playful which is not typical for this breed. We will post pictures of her progress and notify once she is available for adoption. Please consider making a donation towards her care. Thank you!

Do you remember Cooper? His rescue story is listed below along with the pictures of his condition when he arrived. We are very happy to share Cooper’s update video! He is recovering very well and is almost ready for adoption. Thank you to the many supporters that donated towards his care. https://youtu.be/h6f7N0hcj1o
Cooper was rescued by one of our dedicated employees that spent 5 hours transporting him for medical treatment. He has a large wound on his shoulder that is believed to have been caused by humans. Our Vet team has cleaned the wound and Cooper will receive daily medical treatments.
Unfortunately the village does not want Cooper in their neighborhood and has made threats to harm him. Since it is unsafe for Cooper to return, he will stay under our care and will be available for adoption once he has fully recovered.
We don't know who was more excited to go home yesterday, Giselle or the Monk! She was brought to our clinic 3 weeks ago after she was hit by a car and was another rescue case in need of an amputation. Giselle has made a full recovery and is running around like she has four legs. We are very grateful to the many supporters who donated towards Giselle's care. Thank you for your continuing support!
Do you remember Sweet Pea! Sadly she was another victim of a car accident which required an amputation. She has fully recovered and gets around very well on three legs. Sweet Pea was extremely shy when she came to our shelter but she is improving every day! We are very grateful to be able to provide the extra care that is required for shy dogs like Sweet Pea. Please consider sponsoring her while she waits for her forever home. Thank you!
