Care for Dogs Foundation – Overview 2009
Video that gives you an impression of CfD’s shelter, well done with beautiful background music.

Sammy in Denmark, a Thai emigrant
Sometimes, life takes a strange road. In this case it leads from the street of Chiang Mai via CfD’s shelter to a family home in Denmark. And Sammy is the name of this
guy, and here you see some his first steps or jumps in his new home. May be some of you remember him,

Earthoria
This is a video filmed at “Care for Dogs” in Chiang Mai. “Care for Dogs” is an animal welfare charity. The aim of the organization/shelter is to improve the life of street and temple dogs by organising sterilisations, vaccinations, and medical care. They also offer a home for approx. 80 homeless dogs and puppies until they find a new loving home for them.

This video shows the amazing dogs they take care off (and that are up for adoption if you offer a loving home).

Temple
During a visit to a temple in Chiang Mai, a monk started to talk to Care for Dogs about the problems facing so many temples and the constant dog dumping problem that is prevalent in this area.

Volunteer
Short video showing the day of a volunteer at Care for Dogs in Chiang Mai Thailand

Feeding
Many dogs get dumped at temples or simply find a home there because they cannot find another safe place to go. In this video you can see an example of a Care for Dogs visit to feed dogs at Wat Gaset Mai, a temple in Chiang Mai

Wat Vivek
Feeding of dogs at temples around Chiang Mai, enables Care for Dogs to monitor the health of dogs, identifying new candidates for sterilisation and addressing their ongoing medical needs such as flea & tick removal, treatments of mange and other diseases.

Open Chiang Mai Visit
If you want to take care of the lovely pets, just ask yourselves whether you have responsible for them. All of your pets need care and love and I think it’s just like human. When you get some pet, you should take care of their lives so the problem of wandered dog won’t be happened. In Chiang Mai, there are many wandered dog that are crashed, being mangy or hydrophobia walking around the city because they don’t have any house to live. We visited to one organization, “Care for Dogs” and talked with the owner about this problem. She’s really concern about the dogs. Two things that you might do are, giving some donation for the dogs’ organization or take care of your dogs exactly.

Thai Children TV
