Licorice settling in
Ever eager to bounce up in my arms to say hi and then rest her head in my neck for safety, Licorice is, now more than ever, the love of my life. As my first adoptee, Wolfie (now try to guess what type of attitude she’s gifted with!) is Queen around the house and ever ready to guard her number one spot, she frequently comes to interrupt Licorice’s and my embraces by looking up and whining. That’s when I take off around the yard to play with both of them, only to be quickly outrun by both dogs who, knowingly understand that I’m not a match for them, start running after each other.
