Kate Suisted – A compassionate human

Care for Dogs is totally dependent upon volunteer assistance and this testimonial from one volunteer speaks volumes about the two way street that becomes apparent when volunteering with this type of activity.

Someone once said “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend” and with around one hundred eager teachers in attendance, CARE FOR DOGS is the ideal place to practice how to become a more compassionate human; as a volunteer.

A wise one also said, “Scratch a dog and you’ll find a permanent job”… no matter how much time you have to give, little or lots, your generosity will surely be rewarded in ways you can only imagine.

When was the last time you had a puppy lick your face? Or had a friendly greeting of over 100 barks?

My personal experience as a volunteer at CARE FOR DOGS has been extremely positive and rewarding.

Thanks to the help of well-trained staff, I was able to interact confidently with all the dogs and learn how to care for the wellbeing of our canine friends. It was unbelievable to volunteer in the beautiful sunny countryside of Chiang Mai with fun and interesting like-minded people.

I would like to thank CARE FOR DOGS staff, dogs and other volunteers for providing me the opportunity to have fun and do something useful during my stay in Chiang Mai. I highly recommend volunteering at CARE FOR DOGS to anyone interested.

Best regards,
Kate Suisted – New Zealand
