Julia from Sweden – Holiday at the shelter

Julia is a dedicated carer of animals and with a desire to help dogs in Thailand, contacted Care for Dogs to see if she could come to Chiang Mai on a holiday, live near the shelter & come to the shelter every day and HELP !

Well you can imagine our response to an offer like that.

Julia is staying in the home of a Thai family close to the shelter and experiencing a very different style of living. She walks to the shelter every day and gets straight to work with scooping poop and caring for dogs that need assistance.

She showers, walks and sits & talks and most importantly, she takes special care of a couple of the intensive care doggies like Go pictured with her here.

this is my friend! a girl dedicated so save animals! she is doing a great work here in Sweden as well, it shows that anyone can help.
Julia is talented, ambitious and her work makes a difference!!

Hi Ann, yes Julia is great to have on board, she is truly a caring person.

We hope she keeps her smile though, as some of the awful things she can tell you about now, can be very depressing.
