James is on the mend

walkingjamesJames is one of those full of character cute guy’s, that is if you are into hunk’s, who came to us a few weeks ago in a poor condition, with very little hair on his body having tried to cope with a long term skin problem living rough in and around Wat Bupparum off Thae Pae Road, Chiang Mai.

Thankfully he was spotted by Ann & Colin, a couple of dog friendly tourists and they alerted us to his plight.

After he was brought to the shelter, they have kept up their contact with him, visiting him and very kindly making a donation towards the cost of his medical treatment.

Whilst visiting, they took James on a walk out from the shelter and as you can see from the photo, he is very happy to be receiving this affection.

I hope you can see him radiating signs of relief from the perpetual itching caused by the mange parasites that have caused him to scratch & rub himself until he bled in addition to having all his hair fall out.

Here, Soraya & Gill are in the process of showering James with medicated shampoo which you lather up and leave on for 15 minutes for the active agents to take effect on the skin.
