Hoy goes under the knife

For the guys reading this, I will be brief.

hoy3

Today Hoy, who you can see & read more about here … and is suffering badly with many tumors all over his body, underwent what we believe is a life improving step.

hoy2One area badly affected with tumors, is his scrotum. His condition overall is improving but his gonads have grown to an abnormal size, the surface area of his scrotal sac has become infected and today we made the decision to have his testicles removed and in essence, sterilise him, therefore removing one tumor and hopefully putting an end to that area of infection.

Dr Tarn, the preferred veterinarian practice where we take our TvT cases, said his surgery was a 3 hour operation. Immediately after the operation, she put Hoy into a warm & shady recuperation area to build his body temperature back up.

The TvT (Transmissible Venereal Tumors) treatment is already reducing his tumors but today he will forgo his weekly injection.

You can read more about TvT here …

Sorry, you can open your eyes and stop cringing now!
