Hope & Freedom update
After spending so much time with Hope & Freedom over the last 6 months folks around Care for Dogs were delighted that these 2 dear souls were off to a wonderful home.
Teachers at the School for Life up in the mountains beyond Doi Saket, had come to the shelter a couple of weeks ago looking for a dog to rescue. Little did we know they would set their sights on Hope & Freedom and the pair that needed to go to a new home together.
Last week we visited them and saw how relaxed the children were with these gentle giants and what was more important was the dogs were showing they had settled and accepted their new home.

Then soon after our visit, one of the teachers Kh Dtom sent us this message & some more photos.
This evening they ran to the dam about 6 km. ( go and back )
but I don’t know that they not allowed the animal to swim
because they use the water for washing and drink
but I thought both of them feel happy like them name HOPE & FREEDOMBest Regards

These stories make up for all the sadness we see. Lets hope we hear more good news about other adoptions.

This has truly brought tears to my eyes. They all look so happy. The dogs are getting so much attention & an abundance of love & affection. Their new home definitely suits their names!
