Happy New Year! A New Beginning

new_year

As 2013 comes to a close, we would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, staff, and Facebook fans for helping to make 2013 a great year for CfD. Because of your support, we were able to sterilize, vaccinate, rescue, and administer medical treatment to hundreds of homeless, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats who would otherwise have had no chance of survival. While we have experienced some heartbreaking cases this year, we have also witnessed amazing miracles!

We are deeply grateful for your support, and from everyone at CfD, we wish you a 2014 filled with happiness, good health, and prosperity.

In anticipation of the new year, some of our dogs prepared New Year’s Resolutions and I am sharing them on their behalf. Enjoy!

“Shelter dogs are not broken. They’ve simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human, we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write, the ones dealt a bad hand who respond with courage.
Don’t pity a shelter dog, adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness at your side”.

By adopting from a rescue group like Care for Dogs Foundation, you are making the difference in the life of a dog in need. It has been said, that a rescue dog knows he has been given a second chance at life and is forever grateful.

If you are considering adding a furry friend to your family, make this New Year a New Beginning for a shelter pet.

Don’t Shop – Adopt!
