Family of 5 cared for by friends of Care for Dogs
This last week we received a couple of photo’s of some lucky dogs in Mae Rim, just north of the city of Chiang Mai.
I say lucky but maybe just fortunate.
It would seem that when some friends of Care for Dogs agreed to “house sit” a property whilst the owners went on their vacation, they were given only half the story about their duties.
Nearby the house, in the undergrowth, live a family of 5 (Mum & 4 pups) and the house sitters became increasingly aware that the expectant look on the 5 faces looking through their gate possibly had something to do with a bag of rice marked “Dogs” in the kitchen store.
So thankfully the house sitters made the connection and are now regularly feeding the homeless 5.
But not satisfied with that, they are dealing with the tick infestation and we are lining the mother for sterilisation in a couple of months time, the for vaccination and hopefully a star role at the Adoption Fair at Carrefour next month.
