Emu – Dog of the Month – April

emu

Emu has been a wonderful addition to our dog family for the past few months but deserves a loving and permanent home of his own.

He is a medium sized brown, male dog, with piercingly intriguing eyes. He was dumped on the street not far away from the Care For Dogs shelter some months ago. Emu was fostered by volunteers who said that he was great in their house and bright and eager to learn commands. They have now left abroad, so Emu is ready for a permanent home.

He’s very friendly and gentle with people, however, dominant towards other male dogs, so he would be a great candidate for a home with a fence and with a family who wasn’t planning on having any other male dogs around (although female companionship has never been an issue!).

He is unbelievably loyal, though, and would be a good guard dog as well.

If you might be able to provide Emu with the love he would provide in return, please call – 08 47 52 52 55 or email us to schedule a chance to meet!

  1. So sorry to hear of the sudden & mystery death of Emu yesterday. Especially since I had just been discussing him with Soraya 10 mins earlier as a possible model for our upcoming fashion show. Such a shock & sad loss. RIP Emu.
