Sharing the Grief, Expressing Sympathy For Pet Loss

When someone close to you experiences the grief of losing a pet, you want to express your condolences and sympathy for their loss.


Care for Dogs offers our Memorial Donations program as a way for friends and family to pay special tribute through a donation in honor of the recently loss pet.


2 Easy Steps

Your donation in their pet’s name is a great way to offer support and show you care.

Your act of generosity will also go a long way to help all of our dogs here at Care for Dogs, dogs that are still hoping to find that someone special that will change their world.


Step 1 – Make Your Donation

Below is our Memorial Donation button. Once you complete your donation, you will be automatically forwarded to a page for Step 2 where we will collect information from you regarding the beneficiary of your thoughtful donation. We have no set amount for donations, simply donate what you can.


Step 2 – Provide Information

Please provide us with your name and email address.

We will need your friend’s name and email address, and the name of their pet that recently passed away.

Also, we would like to know how you want your donation to be acknowledged, i.e. John, John and Mary, The Smith Family, etc.

We have also provided space for any personal message you may want us to convey in our sympathy ecard.

Once we receive this information, we will contact your friend with an personal acknowledgement that Care for Dogs has received a donation from you in honor of their pet, and express our sincere condolences at their loss.

We will also invite them to submit a photo for our In Loving Memory Wall, and will work with them to create a memorial tribute to go with the photo.


Losing a pet is hard. The goal of our Memorial Donation program is to honor the memory of a loss pet, while our In Loving Memory Wall is designed to help ease the pain by providing a way for pet owners to pay tribute to those special friends that have passed on.
