He had a twisted stomach and passed away during an emergency operation this afternoon. We are all shocked. He had looked fine the last days and also this morning and went out for [...]

Introducing a new dog to the pack!

I’ve often been asked- how do we add a dog to our dog pack without problems? The answer involves a series of steps; a dog that comes to our shelter will be vaccinated, deflea/deticked, and assessed in our clinic area, away from the other dogs. He/she will then go into our quarantine area for observation [...]

Machos at CfD!

BEAUTIFUL, STRONG, ADORABLE, MALE DOGS ARE WAITING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES Male dogs are very popular in Thailand – they are regarded as good guard dogs and the owner doesn’t have to be concerned about having unwanted puppies (although all the dogs for adoption at the shelter are sterilized, so if you opt for a [...]

Puppies!

Puppies, puppies, puppies! I love puppies! Puppy kisses, puppy licks, puppy barks, puppy love; it’s all so beautiful! Puppies seem to instantaneously make you care more, love more, forgive more, and nurture more. I understand why people regularly come to us specifically yearning to adopt a puppy; they bring out the best in us!
However, I’m sometimes concerned with what I hear after presenting 8-10 weeks old rescued puppies to families…

The service is active and as a prove – here the first story from one of the dog walkers – Sean – giving you an impression how it is (and how it could be for you or your doggies)

Food for Thought

Several recent school groups have brought up an interesting question. What do all those dogs eat? All kidding aside however, when the dog food delivery truck arrives at the shelter, people get out of its way.
