Locky – Low Key Guy with High Hopes

	Locky
	This 2 year old male is small-framed, calm and relaxed guy. He keeps to himself and gets along with other dogs, is low-keyed and would be best without young children. He does enjoy human company and would need some grooming due to his long and lovely coat. Often those calm boys like Locky get overlooked but who spots will surly find the worth a closer look and a company you hardly want to miss.

	This lovely terrier mix is a 2 year old female. She has the sweetest character, is very gentle and likes affection. She would make anyone a great companion as she gets along with all canines and humans!

Naiya needs new home

* UPDATE Naiya found a new home UPDATE ** Naiya’s owner had passed away, and she needed a new home. Naiya is 2-3 years old. She has very sweet personality, playful and smart. She can get along with every dogs and loves to be with people all the time . she need a new home with space for her to play around.

Naiya is in deed very sweet and so affectionate – she just loves to follow you every where you go. Her new owner should allow her to come into the house as well, she would just be unhappy if she feels left out!

** UPDATE Danny found a new home *** Hello My name is Danny! and my eyes are always smiling, even in this picture but I’m a bit blinded by the sun!

I have a lovely soft coat, someone said I was like a teddy bear and gave me a big cuddle, which I love! I love everyone and other dogs as well. I have been at the Shelter quite a long time, and though I love everyone here it would be so ACE to have my own family and home.

Chestnut Needs a Second Chance

Sometimes we’ve no idea why some of our cuties pass their puppy days becoming a young dog and still have to stay at the shelter. One of these mysteries is Chestnut, after a bad start in life (see here..), she has even been adopted once, but then unfortunately this has not worked and she has been brought back to the Shelter. Almost the worst thing for one of our shelter dogs, coming back to the crowded shelter after the experience of having felt security and love for a little while.

She’s always eagerly waiting for someone going for a walk with her, in the shelter she feels uneasy.
This sweet female dog looks for a permanent new home, may be with some garden or big yard as she’s still playful and likes to run around.

If you would like to offer this sincere young lady dog a loving home, please come by to meet her at the shelter!

October Puppy Month!

Care for Dogs has a lot of puppies at the moment – please come and meet these cuties! They will make a wonderful addition to any family. We have brown, black, tri-colored, triger-stripe, white… many ages.

Some of them are still too young to go homes as they still need to stay with their mums, but we have a lot of extremely cute, ready-to-go-to-good-homes -puppies!

Here some more puppies and their back ground:

These puppies were living in a forest with their mums without any shelter and there was not enough food for the mums.

This mum was living on a carpark and already some of the pups had been hit by a car... now they are at the shelter with their mum safe. Their eyes are not even opened yet, so they still have to stay with their mum for another 7-8 weeks.

Lake came in heavily pregnant and gave birth at the shelter.. these ones are still too young to be separated from their mum - but it's just a matter of weeks and they're ready

	If so, take a look at Lord Snowdon. This small guy is between 1-2 years old. He can be temperamental and would be best with other dogs and not young children. He could use some training for that special someone who is up for the challenge!
