Sunny December

Today the sun warmed the chilly morning and the dogs enjoyed the heat of the sun after their breakfast.
As you will see from the photos below, characters like Kasim, Na-song-san and other old hands, know exactly the right spot to claim their piece of the warmth.
I whispered into Kazim’s ear about those folks at International [...]

ISB - We love you ! Thank you Children, Parents & Teachers

This is Patty from ISB.

After the hard work our children and parents had put into this fund raising project, we made about 26,000 baht today!!!

The children were very proud as they had said before the sale that they hoped to make Kazim’s life a happier one. We hope that this money can sponsor Kazim’s expenses for a while.

We hope to keep this project a December tradition in our Pre-K program as the children have learned so much from this project. How do you want us to transfer the money to you? We hope to do it on Thursday as we still have a few items left and hope to sell them early next week.

Another good news is that today I ran into an Art teacher, Trish, who is very keen to help your organization in the near future. She has asked me for your info. and was saying that she could do something with her kids next term to help you guys too.

Time and Inclination

3 hours of time, ability to drive 25 kilometres and a sense of humour. That’s all you need to do a vet run. Well almost.
It’s a bonus if you know how to approach a dog, talk to them, pick them up and understand their needs. But most of all you must have the inclination to [...]

Kids with Compassion

Personally, I set out with Professor Paws with the intention of getting children to know and love dogs, and consequently treat them with compassion and kindness. Children’s minds are open and receptive of ideas. Our kindergarten class was most receptive to our lessons and welcomed any activity that had to do with these [...]

Kazim - Please sponsor this old dog

Kazim is another one of those dogs that some folks pass in the street and think how on earth they got there and in fact wonder how on earth are they still walking and breathing.
Kazim was found wandering with a variety of fleshy, bleeding tumors, in his eye, nose, back & his penis. A record [...]
