Care for Dogs … and Rabbits, too
An old man asked me at the Tha Mai II temple, where I have been taking care of the dogs for eight months, if I could have a look at the dogs at the Don Chai Phadaed temple.
So, a couple of weeks later, I went to the new temple and, apart from the dogs and the cats, there were also two rabbits. They were being kept in a very small cage.
I saw some ‘ceremony’ houses and I asked the highest monk if we could use one of these to make a new home for the rabbits.
He immediately said yes and the young monks were excited about this idea. One day later we began to work on the new house and it came out very well.
Now the rabbits can stretch out and run around. This action didn’t cost even one Baht, just three hours of work.
