Care for Dogs 2nd Birthday
Today, 1 June 2008, Care for Dogs is celebrating it’s 2nd birthday and the the core team must be very happy that progress and improvements have abounded in the last 12 months.
Not only is the team growing, with increasing numbers of people willing to help and support the aims of the group, the overall achievements and success are bringing people to the shelter from far and wide, giving Care for Dogs greater exposure to the world.
One such visitor was the wonderful Tina Noga - www.earthoria.com who made both audio and video interviews with Karin & Sarah. These interviews are now actively increasing visits to our website and raising awareness of our work. Follow these links to listen & watch the podcast & video.
New volunteers have joined the team and the dynamics work very well. Sarah seems to go from strength to strength in her skills of organising the shelter and Soraya has taken on the project of “Professor Paws”, introducing youngsters at their schools to animal welfare. And that leads nicely onto the imminent arrival of a very special youngster in Karin & Klaus’s family!
Birthday celebrations are always special and this one was no exception. Gill had just returned from her visit to the UK, Steve manned the BBQ, Amandine was in Thailand to join the party and Sarah, Teresa & Soraya were accompanied by their partners.

It doesn’t seem that long ago we were celebrating just one year of Care for Dogs at the 1st Birthday Party!
