Animal Ambassador

Eva Hamann, who is a longtime supporter of Care for Dogs, visited the shelter in Hang Dong in September.

With this visit, she and her husband could directly see what kind of work they have sponsored. She used this moment to present Karin personally another donation by a friend of hers, Ursual Albert from Germany.

Besides her activities for Care for Dogs, Eva is also supporting other animal rescue projects throughout Thailand and Ursula gave her donation to Eva to eagerly share it between those projects.

With the following presentation she documented the use of Ursulas donations for her, because she stayed in Germany. An with this she showed that besides growing distance the sympathy for creatures in need must not minimize.

Again, a big thank you to Eva and Ursula!

We hope that many more friends don’t judge not as much because of the distance – which is relative in times of the “global village” – but rather because of the scope of the misery.

To all our supporters and donors from all over the globe: we invite you to do it just like Eva and come to the shelter to get a personal impression of our work and support with and for the dogs in Chiang Mai. This is all just possible with your (also financial) support!

Michael " Being part of the team I think, was so much more effective. If alone, I would only have given a street dog some food for few days, not knowing what else to do in a strange town when seeing a sick dog. Joining with the other volunteers at CfD, I was part of a steady approach. You give dogs some hope for a better life and don't have to disappoint them when they might wait on you, when your plane already took off. Here is a team and it's just another friendly face, the next (holiday) volunteer will take up your work. [More about Michael]"
