Amnuay’s Homestay

Our shelter is located approx. 13 km south of Chiang Mai. We can organize a home stay in our village with a very nice Thai family within walking distance of the shelter. The family has set up a few new rooms close to their home.
All of our volunteers have given us very positive feed-back about the hospitality of the family and the wonderful food that can be ordered during the stay. For additional fees, the family can also organize various sightseeing trips, including transportation to a nearby swimming pool, Sunday Walking Street, Thai temples, Doi Inthanon National Park etc. The
family can also organize to have a massage therapist come on site. Reservations with the family should be made ahead of time via Care for Dogs.

Michael " Being part of the team I think, was so much more effective. If alone, I would only have given a street dog some food for few days, not knowing what else to do in a strange town when seeing a sick dog. Joining with the other volunteers at CfD, I was part of a steady approach. You give dogs some hope for a better life and don't have to disappoint them when they might wait on you, when your plane already took off.
