She needs a calm, loving 2-legged pack leader to bring her out of herself and develop her trust. | As you can see dada is a beautiful girl. She has gorgeous coloring and expressive features. The only thing she requires is time and understanding as she was in an abusive situation before coming to the shelter. She is still a bit leery of strangers and is looking for her special someone. | Bung is very special as she’s such a delightful girl! She loves people and is good with other dog friends, too. She is a medium size with an easy short coat. She may need some medicine now and again for her sensitive skin, otherwise she is quite ready to give you all her love! |

Do Re Mee |
| This lovely female Thai breed is waiting patiently for her new owner and home to come along. She was abandoned on the streets and would be content with a nice place to stay, healthy food and someone kind and gentle to care for her. She is medium size with an almost maintenance-free coat and a very calm and quiet personality. |

| Muli is finally enjoying her life after being in confinement. She can now show her lively and charming personality to the world! She loves to play and is very social, showing her obvious Labrador side. She will make a great friend to anyone and would do well in a home with kids or other dogs to share in the fun! |

Liney is a small composed female and would do well in a condo with her petite frame. She has a beautiful coat with brindle coloring and gorgeous eyes. Ashami |
| This lovely girl was abandoned, hard to believe as she is so gentle-natured and great with people. She is 2-3 years old, is a small size and has such a cute little heart-shaped face. She would make a wonderful dog to a family with older children and other dogs as long as they are not too dominant. |

Sienna |
Sienna is a one year old affectionate white-red short-hair female dog with 3 legs. When she was a puppy she got hit by a car and one of her legs needed to be amputated. Sienna is doing wonderfully and the 3 legs don’t stop her from running around and playing with other dogs. She is a bit shy in the beginning but warms up quickly once she gains trust.
Sienna had been sterilized and vaccinated and is ready for a new home. Would you be that special person who won’t mind that Sienna looks a bit different than other dogs but has lots and lots of love to give?

This 3-4year old female was fortunate to be treated from a large leg tumor and is now ready to go to her new permanent home with a garden where she can walk around and maybe take a bath from time to time.  She is very good with people but can be a bit dominant with other dogs because of her breed and a home familiar with the Bang Keaw would be best. She will be very loyal and best with older children. | This lovely young lady of 1-2 years old is medium sized, has a pretty coat and is very friendly and playful. She was saved from being poisoned as she likes to dig and have fun in gardens. She needs someone with patience and time to work with her and give her the attention she needs. |

Nabooki |
| Nabooki came to Care for Dogs with her brother (since adopted). They had both been horribly abused and were on death’s door from starvation. She quickly gained weight however, so much so we thought she was pregnant for a while! She’s not too old, a year or two maybe, and keeps to herself. | Susy is blind. She comes under the category ‘Dogs with Special Needs’ but really she just needs a warm bed in cold weather, a shady spot in the hot months, fresh water close by, some nice food, and someone who cares enough to give her all these.

| Macha is easily overlooked sitting out of sight in her little bed along the back wall of the shelter. Although a little shy she is incredibly sweet and affectionate. A small to medium sized dog, 3-4 years old, healthy and sterilised, she is the perfect addition to any home with or without children but preferably not very dominant dogs…take the time to seek her out and she’ll reward you in spades! |

| Kaow Wai came to Care for Dogs from a home where people were moving away from Chiang Mai and flatly refused to take her with them. Now she spends her time posing for the camera & lazing in the shade. She is sterilised, fully vaccinated and free from any disease or impediment. Her only problem is that she needs affection and right now she doesn’t have a family to give her that love she deserves. | Job is a good natured 2-3 year old girl who can be shy with men she doesn’t know. She’s sterilised and very healthy with all her shots in place. She enjoys her walks and will grub around in the woods like a little truffle pig, sneezing and whiffling and digging where necessary. She is a welcome addition to any walk as she happily trots along and gives you plenty of little rests while she snorts the earth. | We picked Panda up from a temple in 2008. She had been trying to give birth for 2 days and was having difficulty, so a monk called us to help.One puppy was stuck in the birth canal and was, sadly, born dead, the others were born by emergency caesarean and were very healthy. The monk had told us that she had been hit by a car when pregnant more. Panda is a very pretty, gentle girl and loves to be with people and to be walked and we would love for her to be adopted, but because of her special needs, it is possible she will spend her life with us. | Not sure how Ice Cream ended up with this name. I can only assume it’s because everyone loves Ice Cream! She had a difficult start in life which has resulted in her sometimes not being able to put weight on her back left leg – do not let this fool you! Ice Cream can run faster than most and could easily qualify as an olympic swimmer! A joy to be around. |

| Many of our volunteers at Care for Dogs have a soft spot for this special 3 year old. Pink has a nervous disposition and is very wary of strangers. She will shy away if you approach her directly but after a while, maybe a few hours, maybe a few days, you will suddenly find her right next to you asking for affection. At that point you have a friend for life who will be loyal and loving to her dying breath. If you have the patience you may be lucky enough to find your match in Pink. |

| Little Cow – named for her fresian cow markings not her personality! She is playful and also extremly intelligent. She never lets anything get her down but has been at the shelter for quite a while now so truly deserves a loving home.
