| Macha is easily overlooked sitting out of sight in her little bed along the back wall of the shelter. Although a little shy she is incredibly sweet and affectionate. A small to medium sized dog, 3-4 years old, healthy and sterilised, she is the perfect addition to any home with or without children but preferably not very dominant dogs…take the time to seek her out and she’ll reward you in spades! |

| This bundle of love is a 3-4 year old bull terrier who is very affectionate with people but somewhat jealous and dominant with other dogs as is common with her breed. She is currently undergoing treatment for a minor skin condition and we will update her photo as soon as she’s back to looking her best again. These dogs are very popular in Thailand so we are hoping we can rehome her quite soon. | This is Judy Black – a real celebrity at Care for Dogs. She will actually hold your hand in hers and place her other paw on top like a confiding aunt, gazing at you with great understanding, alongside a compassion that almost borders on pity – so unfortunate for you that your not a dog! She loves to trot around in the woods with her fellows but care must be taken not to let her off the lead for even a moment, as every chicken in the area will agree…sadly her compassion doesn’t stretch that far! She would make a wonderful addition to any home with or without children as long as they have a very secure garden or yard and have time to take her for regular walks and give her lots of input. She’s currently the Care for Dogs mascot and often accompanies us on educational trips into schools. To say the least, the kids love her and so will you…call the shelter for an appointment and we’ll see if we can fit you into her busy schedule… |

| Vivian is 1 to 2 years old and, despite coming across as a little nervous at first, loves people and responds very well to kindness and affection. She is a lovely looking dog with ‘shades of honey’ coloured fur and intelligent eyes. She is very healthy with all her shots and is, of course, sterilised. Vivian is just starting to really enjoy her walks after being, at first, terrified of the lead. She is a quiet, gentle girl who would respond well to similar owners – older children or teenagers would suit her better than very young children. She would be a wonderful addition to any home. |

She enjoys her walks and will grub around in the woods like a little truffle pig, sneezing and whiffling and digging where necessary. | We picked Panda up from a temple in 2008. She had been trying to give birth for 2 days and was having difficulty, so a monk called us to help.One puppy was stuck in the birth canal and was, sadly, born dead, the others were born by emergency caesarean and were very healthy. The monk had told us that she had been hit by a car when pregnant more. Panda is a very pretty, gentle girl and loves to be with people and to be walked and we would love for her to be adopted, but because of her special needs, it is possible she will spend her life with us. | Dom Mee, small and sweet, less than a year old, seems to have a fondness for chasing chickens…We are urgently seeking a loving home for Dom Mee. Albeit her love of poultry, Dom Mee is a sweet mannered dog, loves to be petted and cuddled. | This wonderful young girl named Cookie is light brown and white in colour and has beautiful golden eyes. She has a gentle and kind temperament, is interested in horticulture and has an acute experience of banking…Cookie and her friend Snow White, were regularly camping out on the steps of the Kasikorn Thai bank and enjoying the delights of soil and plant roots, thoughtfully placed at the beautified entrance forecourt of the bank. The staff at the bank had a sense of humor to a point but after the plants were dug up too many times and it must be said, a right mess made of the forecourt, the bank management were considering poisoning the dogs.So now Cookie spends her time in and around a roofed area at the shelter with her mate Khao Wai and other girls awaiting someone to adopt them. She can often be seen sitting on top of the dog house and if you stop and chat with her, she enjoys giving you her paw to say hello. It seems Cookie likes a close friend and after losing Snow White, she set up a close relationship with Khao Wai and it would be wonderful if Cookie could find a home and take along her friend too… |

| Go Go is a healthy 3 year old velvet coated girl who is, at first, shy around strangers. She keeps herself to herself at the shelter and would dearly love a home of her own. Ice-Cream…HIGH PRIORITY

| IceCream, or I-Team if pronounced by a Thai person was a dumped puppy that was removed from her mother far too soon.The immediate effect was that her bones failed to develop properly and when the rest of her body grew, the stress on her left femur which was stunted in length, made it snap. Her leg now appears to be healing though she struggles to put full weight on it. Despite this she is a lively girl who enjoys a good romp in the woods near the shelter and has much to offer her new owners. Due to her disability she is often picked on at the shelter and really deserves a safe place to finish growing up after all she has been through. Please, please consider giving her a loving, forever home…you will never regret it. |

| Many of our volunteers at Care for Dogs have a soft spot for this special 3 year old. Pink has a nervous disposition and is very wary of strangers. These two gorgeous Ridgebacks are both healthy, sterilised females of 3-4 years old. They have been together all their lives so far and we would like to keep them together if possible. They have calm, loving, gentle natures and are, on the whole, tolerant but would do better in a home with no other dogs or young children - although aggression would be a rare occurence, due to their Ridgeback heritage the consequences for another dog could be serious…On a lighter note, they adore people and will gaze lovingly into your eyes like you are an old friend and enjoy being petted and cuddled immensely.
