Last Saturday at the NIS Boot Fair we were very fortunate to meet a lovely lady named Kh Fon.

Recently she had taken a new dog into her home as an adoption and after considering that dogs feelings, Kh Fon decided to take another dog into her home to give the first one some company, a companion and give yet another dog a chance in life.

This week we received a lovely email from Kh Fon, this is what she had to say:

Dear Karin
I have adopted a dog from your organization yesterday at NIS.
Her name is

“Ash” now “Lizzy,” the lovely ash brown 5 months old.

She’s adjusted very well with her new environment. My other adopted 8 months old dog, Darcy,
really helped with her adjustment. They play very well together, especially Darcy, who is very very happy with his new friend.

He can be a bit rough when playing with her but she doesn’t seem to mind.

Lizzy eats her dinner very well and responds well to me and my mother. Today i took her out to our garden with Darcy and she enjoys running around in the garden with her friend very much. Lizzy is still a bit jumpy when she hear some unfamiliar sounds like the door opens or the car’s horn, and still very intimidated / shy by other people because she is not yet familiar with our housekeepers and the gardeners but i’m sure she will get used to them any time soon.

Otherwise all is great. She sleeps in front of our house on her cushion and Darcy sleeps right near her. I’m so glad they get along very well.

Just want to give you the update on her. I’ve attached some pictures of them and will send you some more update and pictures of them in the garden as she’s adjusting to her new house.
