Care for Dogs’ 24 hour hotline saves Hand to Paw temple dog» Due to the recent fatal poisoning of the Alpha male, “Buck” at the temple the students wanted to again remind the monks to use the 24 hour hotline set up by Care for Dogs (CFD) to be used for such emergencies no matter what the hour of day or injury.
Although the monks have used the hotline in the past, it was used more or less to let us know of a fatality of a dog, not immediate attention as it was intended.

Calling all animal lovers» We’re looking for volunteers!
If you are reading this notice it must be because of your concern for many of our 4-legged friends! Often times one has the need or want to volunteer in some way, but have limited time, located on the opposite side of Chiang Mai from the Care for Dog shelter, or simply unsure as to what you could do to help.
We are looking for interested, compassionate adults who would like to be part of a new Prem community outreach initiative called “Hand to Paw”. This project is designed to care for the dogs currently living at three temples located in the surrounding area around The Prem International School in Mae Rim.
